In the Preschool program, I personally ensure that the learning and caring environment works for your child and ensure that the learning environment is age-appropriate and meets the need of every child. The environment is filled with exploration, discovery, and mutual respect for each other. Planning of educational themes is a process based on the interests, abilities and resources of the children. Everyone in the classroom is learning through an activity!

It is my goal to ensure every day is a great day for your child by creating activities that combine both learning and fun.

The curriculum is organized into theme-based units, which are age appropiate and familiar to children. Each unit incorporates language, mathematics, science, creative arts, music, motor skills, and social development.

Admission is available for all children older than 2 years. The pre-school program is a 3 hour program from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. The day care program is also available 5 days a week starting from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

The theme based daily curriculum focuses the children’s activities in the following areas

  • Language and Literacy that develop reading and writing skills.

  • Math Skills where the children are introduced to numbers, including sorting, grouping and counting

  • Creativity and Imagination where the children can showcase their creativity through dramatic play, Music and Art.

  • Physical Development where the children develop their large motor skills through running, jumping and throwing

Group time is also an integral part of your preschooler’s day, where your child learns to enhance his or her social skills. I encourage your child to listen, share, take turns, cooperate, demonstrate curiosity, and give and receive feedback. These social development skills support your preschooler’s ability to flourish in a classroom environment and demonstrate new learning—while having fun!
